Fitness Class Descriptions
ABtastic!: is a 30
minute booster for core and abs made to increase your core strength and to lose
inches in your waist.
Cycle: this indoor cycling class offers a high energy stationary bike
workout that enhances cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength. *Sign up before class at the front desk to reserve
your cycle bike!
Cardio Kickboxing: a combination workout of
aerobics, boxing and martial arts that can improve strength, cardio fitness,
flexibility, coordination, and balance.
Fit ‘n Stretch: a 30 minute stretch and
flexibility class. *Exercise mat required.
HIIT: High Intensity
Interval Training is a form of cardiovascular exercise which is beneficial to
burning fat in a short intense workout.
Kid’s Calisthenics
and Play: This class will supply kids with
exercise and motion through high energy fitness
games, relays and other physical activities. Ages 4+ can enjoy this class!
Lunch
Crunch: is
an instructor’s choice class. Be ready for anything!
Cycle &
Sculpt: A
class that begins with a 45 minute indoor cycling ride followed by 30 minutes
of strength & conditioning. * Sign up before class at the front desk to reserve your cycle
bike!
Strength
and Core: focus
on major muscle groups including biceps, chest, gluts, abs and quads in a group
exercise body sculpting class. *Exercise
mat required.
Step: an aerobic workout
performed by stepping up onto and
down from a Step. This is a cardio based class that will increase
your endurance and cardiovascular health.
Sunshine
Seniors: is
a fun and upbeat fitness class for anyone over the age of 60. This class uses a
variety of low impact, easy to learn exercises to ignite health and fitness in
the older population.
TnT- “Teens in Training” is a class specifically designed for high
school teens. Participants will go through a series of conditioning and
strength exercises consisting of, but not limited to sprinting, body weight
exercises, plyometrics, circuit training, and weight lifting.
Tone and Flex: This high intensity resistance training class will get
your heart pumping and muscles working. Class is focused on large muscle groups
through strength and conditioning exercises. Caution: this is a full body
workout meant for experienced
exercisers.
Women
and Weights: Women and Weights is a special weight
lifting program designed for women. Through consultation and evaluation you
learn the basics of weight lifting. *Classes will meet in the weight room.
Yoga: In a flowing sequence of traditional poses, movement with
breath to increase your strength, coordination, concentration, and body awareness while
calming your mind and reducing stress. * Exercise mat required.
Zumba®: an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired
dance-fitness program that helps you burn calories fast! It’s exercise in
disguise! *All evening classes will be held on Collin’s
Court #1.
Zumba Toning®: use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance Zumba
rhythms and tone all your target zones, including arms, abs, gluts and thighs.
Zumba Gold®: a Zumba class modified
to suit the needs of Zumba beginners, active older participants, as well as those
just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle.
Zumbatomic® : a Zumba class designed
exclusively for kids ages 4-12. Zumbatomic classes are rockin’, high-energy
fitness dance parties packed with specially choreographed, kid-friendly
routines and all the music kids love.
